How it works:
What you will need:
· A Copy of Butler's Lives of the Saints; found either online for free and with the ability to print, also an excellent reprint of the original book may be found at All the Saints Books. · Monthly Notebooking pages from www.SanctusSimplicitus.com (found to your left on this page) · A willful student excited to learn the amazing stories of the saints!! · Pencil, markers , 3 ring binder, ink, paper and a printer Directions: Each day of the month read the Saint story for that day from Alban Butler’s Pictorial Lives of the Saints with Reflections. Discuss the saint, what made her/him a saint, the feast day and the time period in which they lived and so on. Allow the child to write notes on the appropriate notebooking page and keep them in a three ring binder for them to reference and show off what they learned! There is a spot to write the feast day for the saint, some notes as well as a spot to draw a picture and the picture of the Saint for that day w/ name if one was able to be found. The cover page allows the child to paste a picture or draw a picture of their patron saint. This page may be slipped into the clear front of the 3 ring binder. Return next month for the next download!
